  赤銅に舞う龍、匠の技が宿る目貫

  赤銅地の目貫で御座います。
  
  裏面から主題の輪郭を打ち出し、その表面に図柄の細部を加刻する打出手法の高彫で作られ、
  彫刻した溝に純金を埋め込む金象嵌で仕上げた龍図の目貫です。
  
  This is a menuki made of red copper.
  
  It was created using high-relief chiseling, a technique where the outline of the main subject is hammered from
  the back and the fine details of the pattern are added on the front.
  The carved grooves are finished with a gold inlay, a method where pure gold is embedded, finalizing the design with a dragon motif.
