魚子地に舞う龍、赤銅が奏でる重厚な美

赤銅魚子地の縁頭で御座います。

裏面から主題の輪郭を打ち出し、その表面に図柄の細部を加刻する打出手法の高彫で作られた龍図の縁頭です。

縁金と柄頭を合わせて「縁頭」（ふちがしら）と呼び、2つで一対の美術品として
現代でも愛好家に人気となっております。

This is an Fuchigashira made of red copper with a nanako (fish roe) pattern.

It was created using high-relief chiseling, a technique where the outline of the main subject is hammered out from the
back and the fine details of the pattern are added on the front, resulting in a dragon motif on the Fuchigashira.

The combination of the Kashira and Fuchi is referred to as the "Fuchigashira".
As a pair, these two are considered an art piece and continue to be popular among enthusiasts even today.
